Successful Conclusion: The BEO Project Final Dissemination
Successful Conclusion: The BEO Project Final Dissemination
The Business Engagement Odyssey (BEO) Project, supported by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, has successfully concluded its lifecycle (November 2023 – October 2025). The final dissemination event served as a platform to communicate the significant intellectual outcomes achieved in enhancing the practice of Supported Employment.
In addressing the challenge where fewer than 50% of people with disabilities across Europe are employed, the BEO Project concentrated on Employer Engagement as a key element of effective Supported Employment, aligned with the principles of the Association for Supported Employment (formerly EUSE).
The international partnership has delivered concrete, specialized outputs designed to improve the confidence and skills of employment specialists:
- A Detailed Needs Analysis Report on the requirements of employment specialists and employers across five European countries.
- A Specialized Training Package on Employer Engagement, which has been developed, successfully piloted, and subsequently refined.
- A Comprehensive Good Practice Guide specifically elaborated for employers.
Formal acknowledgement is extended to all project partners for their valuable contribution to the successful conclusion of the BEO Project and we also wish to express our sincere appreciation to all event participants.
